Marrazzo has finally accomplished one of her major goals. She has combined her artistic ability, engineering training and Marine Corps discipline and patience to complete signature pieces. All of the Chicago original oil paintings required a lifetime of experience to accomplish. These are the beginning of a series that discover Chicago at Dusk and Dawn in Marrazzo’s style of realism.
The composition and gathering of photo reference material take weeks for each piece of artwork. The majority of the buildings are painted using a size 0 paint brush. In general, the numbers of floors and windows are accurate. Thus requiring hundreds and hundreds of hours to paint each piece of artwork.
Marrazzo’s Chicago artwork can now be viewed at Marrazzo Art Studios in Jacksboro, TN.
